Adult Education

The Wareham Free Library and the Spinney Library now officially offer help to patrons looking for and applying for jobs. Anyone who would like help looking for job openings online or filling out an application can call or stop by. This service is a new extension of the Reading Partners Program.

The Reading Partners desk at the main library will be manned by Susan Noonan from 3:00 to 5:00 PM on  Thursdays.

Susan Cummings-Ripley will help with jobs searches and applications at the Spinney Branch on Wednesdays from noon to 2:00 p.m.

Other times will be available by appointment.

In addition to assistance with job applications, help is offered with any application or form.

Reading Partners is a community program sponsored by the Wareham Free Library Foundation, Inc.

We provide free, confidential, one-on-one tutoring to adults and out of school youth age 16 and over.

Tutoring is available in computer basics, test preparation (high school equivalency, ASVAB, MTEL, etc), English, reading, and writing. Volunteer opportunities are also available if you’re interested in being a tutor.
